Ina-Marie Hupponen

Ina-Marie is reunited with the love of her life, her husband Kevin Timmins (2019). She was predeceased by her parents Eino and Sylvia Hupponen.

Loving sister to Harvey Hupponen (Sandy), Douglas Hupponen (Lorrie), Brenda Gauvin, and Karen Dewees (Dave).

She will be remembered as a fun-loving Aunt and Great-Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Ina-Marie was always interested in her family’s lives.

Remembered by her Aunt Velma and many close friends, in Vancouver and Toronto.

Ina-Marie grew up in Don Mills. She graduated from Glendon College, BA, York University 1984. She moved and worked in Vancouver from 1988 to 2000.

After returning to Toronto, she worked as a Professional Fundraiser at organizations such as CNIB for three years and OISE University of Toronto until 2016.

Ina-Marie was a long-standing member of the Canadian Assoc. of Gift Planners and the Sierra Club Vancouver Lower Mainland.

She enjoyed relaxation at the cottage, theatre and travelling with Kevin, and was a member of Toronto Botanical Gardens. Ina was proud of her Finnish heritage and joined a Finnish dance group in Vancouver and travelled along to Finland.

Celebration of life will be held in the spring.
