Irene Elizabeth Robinson

August 21, 1935

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the peaceful passing of Irene on March 5, 2025, at the age of 89. Predeceased in 1996 by her loving husband Ronald (Ron), beloved mother to Fiona (Mark), predeceased Shaunna (Troy). Loving aunt to Alan (Debbie), Erin (Martin), Paul (Brandy), Kevin, Samantha, Thomas, who she loved dearly.

Born in Liverpool, Irene came to Canada in 1964 with her lifelong friend Sheila. She had a successful career as an Executive Assistant at CBC Radio and Television where she made many lifelong friends. In her retirement, Irene was one of the Directors of the CBC Pensioner Association and volunteered at the CBC gift shop. When Irene moved to Barrie, she volunteered at the gift shop at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, and the CNIB.

Heartfelt thanks to AgeCare Trilogy Long Term Care, her dear friend Sandy, and to Ghinger her caregiver, I am forever grateful for the loving care you gave my mother.
