Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack Williams of 44 years. She has left behind her daughter Tina husband Tim her granddaughter Kayla and husband Matthew and her granddaughter Shannon and her husband Belal . Her son Mark and wife Jennifer and granddaughter Jenna. She was always willing to help people with out taking any credit. Her years of knitting for the homeless and poor to make someone else’s life better. Joan’s knitting was legendary as she always had a needle in her hand. So much so that people would donate yarn to her so she could give it away. Thank you to all those who helped her through her journey.
Visitation will take place at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough, ON, M1R 2Y8, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Parish, 21 Simonston Blvd, Markham, ON, L3T 4L1, on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:30 am, followed by interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 8361 Yonge St, Markham, ON, L4J 0J7.
