Her radiant smile, her determination to pack more into the moment, her zeal over a new idea & efforts to incorporate it into daily life, the backyard bbqs & antics which brought a smile to young & old...a chip off the block of her parents who loved life & were not afraid to add laughter to the moment even if sometimes at their own expense .... 3 cheers & many finger hugs

Stephanie, our deepest condolence to you and your family. Our hearts are with you.

Lynda was always a positive force in any room. Thinking back no one seemed to care more than her and be as positive as her. At a difficult time for the industry its an immeasurable loss for the family, we're thinking of you and cherish every memory!

I was so sad to hear of Lynda's passing. I am the General Manager at Travel Counsellors in Ireland and we met during her time working with the company in Canada. She was full of life and as we say in Ireland - "great craic" (fun!). One of the memorable conferences was in Marbella, Spain - such laughs!

My heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends. She died on my birthday, so she will be in my thoughts on that day each year.

With deep sympathy.
Cathy

I always remember Lynda as a warm, fun-loving woman. A great listener. She was someone you could count on for living up to her word. At travel conferences she would always be up dancing and inviting others to join in. My sincerest condolences to the Sinclair family.

I first met her when she flew into Halifax to interview me for TC. I was in the first few to join. When she left TC it was difficult to continue so I contacted her and she went back to Vision along with me and more of her girls. She worked very hard for us and pushed us to do better. She was a true leader and will always be remembered in my heart. I had hoped one day to return home and work again under her. A beautiful lady with a smile that lit up a room but underneath was a tiger ready to fight for us. Miss her, my condolences to all that her loved her.

I meet Lynda years ago at a travel function we spoke like old friends, like we had known each other for years.. She express her excitement that her daughter in law was coming from Jamaica, and that she was going to be getting Authentic Jamaican food... I cherish the time we spent together and her warm embrace and Her weekly jokes..

Dear Ian and Family,
My condolences are to you and your entire family.
Lynda will be missed by all of us. During the 15 years we worked together, she always came to my office and shared stories and pictures about her family and travel.
She defiantly had a tremendous impact on the travel industry and shared a lot of her passion with all of us.
Thinking about you and your family during this very difficult time.
Ella Oirik

Dear Ian, Mark, Debbie, Stephanie and Derek,
We are so heartbroken to hear about your loss. Lynda always came into the office with a huge smile on her face and she always made us smile as well. She was more than a patient, she was a friend. We would always have lovely chats about where she travelled and where she was going and she always updated us on what everyone was doing. We wish we could be with you and comfort you. We will miss her. Our sincere condolences to all of you. May you be comforted by the wonderful memories you have made.

Ian, Stephanie, and Mark - I was so sorry I couldn't be with you. (I didn't drive down as allowable numbers so limited.) However, I watched the livestream of Lynda's funeral online. (Stephanie Anevich, your words were beautiful. Thank you!) Lynda hired me at Travel Counsellors, straight from an actuarial career, and as my husband Bill reminded me last night, I was so excited to meet someone so positive and enthusiastic about her work, and her encouragement of me to take big steps. She and I both moved to Vision, as you know, and when she returned to her home at Vision, scores of independent advisors followed her lead. She had been my mentor, my cheerleader, and a dear friend. I will miss her greatly. Hugs to the entire Sinclair family, and thank you for sharing her with us. You all have a bright shining star guiding you from above. And you just know she'll have a twinkle in her eye, a broad smile, and a glass of champagne in hand. Love, Sheila

Dear Ian and family

Lynda will be missed by so many people including myself. Her strength and love was so apparent in everything and everyone she touched. The world is a much better place because she was in it. She always talked about her family and how lucky she was. Her memory will be kept alive and we will think of her dancing in Heaven looking down on all of us with that beautiful smile she had for everyone.

Ian and Family. I know you have many memories pouring in from all of us in the Travel Industry, saying how amazing Lynda was as our friend and mentor. Lynda and I had known each other for over 20 years, and I am truly blessed for those memories. I remember the fun we had in the booth at the Gourmet food and wine show, where I also had the opportunity to work with Steph. Lynda was a true inspiration and always the energizer of any meeting, conference, or one on one. It didn't matter who you were; she would always give you her time. She inspired so many and asked nothing in return. Her memories will not only live on inside of me but many others that she touched. My condolences to all of you throughout this time of healing. Big hugs, you have an amazing angel looking over all of you now.

Dear Ian & Family,
Like many in the travel industry, I have known Lynda for many, many years. We have travelled together, laughed together and definitely danced together!! She was such a beautiful lady and will be greatly missed. I can't imagine how your hearts are breaking now. Know that we are all here for you and thinking of you during this very difficult time.
Love, Karen & Pat

Lynda and I knew each other in the travel industry for around 20 years. A year after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, she reached and told me about her diagnoses. Over the last 3 years we would touch base and share "war stories" - even laughed about some of the just crazy things that happen (that no one tells you about).

Lynda was and is a special person that provided strength, guidance and support to all that knew her.

I am sorry I will not be there in person today, but I will be joining and paying respects via the Angel Cam.

My deepest condolences to all her family and friends . I know her last few months were filled with joy as she shared time with you all and " just being a grandma" as she told me on her last day of work.

Dear Ian, Mark, Stephanie and family
My condolences to the entire family.
I had the pleasure of working with Lynda on the company conferences over the past few years. I loved her enthusiasm, energy, ideas and support throughout the entire process. She truly loved working with people and being on-site with her team. She was an inspiration! I also appreciated her volunteering Stephanie to help out as well!! Thank you.
She will be missed.
Take care.
Jill

Ian, Mark and Stephanie we were very heart broken to hear the news about Lynda's passing. Lynda was a very loving and happy person. Lynda will be missed and never forgotten by everyone she encountered. So glad she got to hold her sweet little granddaughter. Moments that will be with you forever. Sandra and Ted Gabbott

Lynda had the most contagious smile and laugh, she lit up every room she entered.

My sincere condolences to Ian and the family. The heavens gained another angel, she will be missed.

Dear Ian, Mark, Stephanie and family. I worked with Lynda at head office and always enjoyed her enthusiasm and positive energy. She was always smiling and nothing kept her down, not even her illness. I remember seeing her after a long time, her hair grew back and was such a cool grey tone and she was wearing a red leather jacket. I called her "Rockstar" that day and it stuck. Every time I would see her after that, I'd say "heyyy Rockstar" and she would always respond. Boy will I miss her spunk and spirit. My sincere condolences to you all. The world lost a gem.

Dear Ian, Mark and Stephanie,

Your mom was a truly remarkable person who brought so much joy to everyone she met. We shared many good times together when she worked at New Wave Travel and later at Vision.

Both Fara and I will miss her.

Sincerely,

Norm Feferman and Fara Heidary

We grew up in the industry together, and Lynda was a soul sister. Curious, dynamic, engaging. I miss her. Ian, Stephanie and Mark; she left everyone she touched with incredible energy. It will live on in each of your lives.
Hugs, kisses and warmest wishes in these dark days.

Dear Sinclair Family,

The world has lost a bright star that helped make so many people feel good about themselves. We have shared so many Christmas Eve's singing, eating and cheering to the new years ahead. Now we will have to look to the night sky to see her bright star glittering in the night. She will be the one dancing around the dark making everyone have a smile on their face.

Her family will keep her deep in their hearts and remember all the fun times we have shared.

God bless her on her new journey. The Woods Family

It is rare to find a infectious person, a catalyst who pushes others onto new heights & who does not have a hidden agenda besides for the fun of it or to make things work or a better way for all vs. only me. I heard Gord playfully whine 'Lynda will probably expect me to do this - grrr, wear this jacket when I would rather not, not like this tie, ....' but he loved her ideas & effects & was able to boast with his impish smile 'that's my sister. ' Sometimes they tamed eat other or other times they wound each other up more. Siblings, travel buddies - 2 peas in a pod. Yes a wonderful friend to Ian & many others, a Mom & loving daughter to Aunt Doreen plus the third musketeer - Aunt Hazel. Lynda was not afraid to show her glowing smile as well as her bums up if she landed that way in the snow. Her motto could be summed up 'THIS IS ME, I am here to enjoy life for a long as I can, get as much from this earthy life & cherish all around me.' And we cherished her in return. Love & finger hugs to all blessed to walk with / across her path & hold her deep in their heart. *** She will probably be one of the leaders in a chain dance with many loving partners also in heaven until we all join in that chapter of our lives. So until then just save a dance for us all.

Knowing Lynda was a lesson in living! She was a pioneer of positive thinking, always the consummate host and A very bright light when she walked in any room. Seriously one of the best dancers ever, the best legs ever, the best smile ever, the best laugh ever! She was radiant- always!! Absolutely an example of how I want to live my life- just enjoying the moment, not seeking attention, being so grounded and such a leader in living life to the fullest! And loving her family fiercely and always ! You are such an amazing person Lynda! We are all so blessed to have had you in our lives. Biggest hugs to the entire family and to you our dear Ian - we are here for you!

I am saddened on hearing of the passing of Lynda. Sie was very dear to me and my entire family. I saw her grow up to be a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. We are going to miss her very much.
Rest in peace, Lynda dear.

Diana Waddell (nee Dynah Boyle) and Lynnette Waddell (daughter)

To the Sinclair Family.... I have only known Lynda Sinclair for 5 years but she was a pivotal person in my life. After a 1 hour conversation, she convinced me I could go independent and succeed at it. It was the biggest leap of faith that I ever took and will be forever grateful for her guidance and advice. She changed many advisors lives and would of course never take credit for that anyway! She was a cheerleader for IC's with words like "I believe in you baby" "You got this" "You need to keep doing this" often in our most doubtful and insecure moments. We need people in our lives that encourage us and inspire us and we lost one this week but she changed anyone who knew her. I will miss the sparkle in her eyes, that laugh and that mega watt smile but my way of honoring her going forward is to Do Better, Be Better and keep on plugging away at this crazy business we/she love. Thank you Lynda and I know are up there watching and rooting for all of us...

Lynda's enthusiasm, energy and ever positive outlook were infectious! You felt great when you were around her. Lynda was a lovely, amazing person and will be dearly missed. Scott

I came to know Lynda for way too short of a time over the past two years at Direct/Vision Travel. Her radiant smile, her consummate professionalism; and passion for our beloved Travel Profession was ever present and will endure in all of us. What a gift to the world she provided!

My condolences to her family and the entire Direct/Vision team.

My sincere condolences to Ian, Mark, Debbie, Stephanie, Derek and her Princess Juliette.

Five years ago when I joined Vision Travel, I was introduced to Lynda by her ebullient laugh- Gosh....was it contagious. Who knew when we met in person she will become my mentor in a business I knew little off other than I love to travel. Lynda said to me " That is all you need baby". She said when you enjoy your work-it is not work, it is where you get to explore your creative self.

When I worked late in the office, I played my music. She will hear it and there she was with her pink Virtuoso cup; she did a few dance steps, laugh and go back to her office.

I will miss you Sunshine. Thank you for being a friend/mentor. ONE LOVE by Bob Marley

Lynda has touched so many people’s lives and I was no exception. I am so glad she was able to fulfill one of her lifelong dreams and travelled to French Polynesia. Her strength and sense of humour throughout her battle was remarkable. She will be dearly missed.

The world of travel has lost a great, smart and lovely person !!! I met Linda back in the early 80's. She was a joy to work with, as her personality and friendliness, was second to none. May she rest in peace, BLESS YOU.

My strong , beautiful smart lovely Lynda, the first time when I met you , on my first day of work, you called me chickadee.  Your smile and warm welcome made my first day of work one of the most beautiful days in my life. You are now gone and your chickadee is heart broken . My heart is empty because I cant see you. I wish I could close my eyes and pray that you would come back. But I open my eyes to see all the love you have shared. I am smiling because you have lived a good life and  I know you are now in a better place . Your chickadee will always love you. RIP

I will always remember Lynda by her beautiful smile. She tackled her cancer head on and kept the most amazing positive attitude throughout her illness. She will be sorely missed by so many in the travel industry and beyond. RIP Lynda. 😘

So sad to hear of Lynda's passing. She will definitely be missed. Take comfort in knowing that she's no longer suffering and resting in eternal peace.

My heartfelt condolences for your loss.
We will miss Lynda everyday at Vision Travel/Direct travel and all her wisdom and great travel stories.

Lynda was a force of nature...strong, smart and full of life. I admired how hard she fought this battle. She will be missed by all her colleagues in the travel industry. RIP Lynda.

Lynda was an amazing woman and mentor. She will be deeply missed.

Ian and family - my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

I met Lynda when I joined her as the first ITA she signed at Travel Counsellors. When she left there we all (at different times) realized we had to follow her to Vision - of course! She had such enthusiasm for all the TA’s she brought in to travel She was a force to be reckoned with and was always willing to go to bat for her girls ( and guys).
She was a great help when my brother in law was stricken with cancer in 2011. It was a really difficult time and I appreciated her support.

While we came at the world from different perspectives, I believe we respected each other’s strengths while recognizing our weaknesses. I will remember and try to emulate her energy, perseverance and her beautiful smile.

I had the pleasure to work with Lynda at Vision for well over 15 years. We lost a wonderful, vibrant and full of life friend. My heart goes out to her family.

Lynda was a 'Ray of Sunshine', even when the sun was not shining!
She was always smiling and always positive and her strength was simply astonishing. In life it is rare to meet someone who has so many amazing qualities wrapped up in one person - that was Lynda.
She was an angel on earth and is an angel in heaven. She will be so missed.

Ian and family, I am extremely sorry to hear about your loss. Your wife has definitely left wonderful lasting memories. Accept my deepest condolence.

Rest in peace Lynda - your mark on this world was so beautiful. I loved knowing you for almost 20 years and I wish your family comfort during this difficult time.

My life is richer, brighter and more complete for having met Lynda. I will carry her smile and joy of life with me always. Lynda was always about paying it forward, making you realize you could do anything, be more. My promise Lynda is to pay it forward always.

You are with us always.

Lynda you will be greatly missed in many ways, especially your 100 watt smile. May you be at peace with no pain and your legacy felt by everyone who was fortunate to know you. Miss you my friend.

Ian and family I am so saddened to hear of your loss. Lynda was such a wonderful person. Peace upon you.
