Mary F. Miles

It is with great sadness we announce that Mary Miles passed away peacefully, with family at her side, at The Wexford Residence, on July 31st, 2025, at the age of 99 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Fred and was a loving mother to Robin (Mike), Janis (pre-deceased, survived by John), Keith (Elizabeth) and Brent (Joanna). Grandma and Nana to Robin (Shane), Jonathan (pre-deceased), William, Christine, Freddie, Chris (Alicia), Sheldon, Kiela and Hannah, and great grandmother to Kai and Kingston. Fondly remembered by Martin Peacocke.

Mom loved to sew and knit and frequently made her own clothes, as well as clothes and knitted sweaters for her family. After retirement she started knitting beautiful outfits for Barbies which were proudly displayed for years in a cabinet in her home. She was a voracious reader and had a massive collection of Harlequin romances. After losing her sight, she continued her love of reading with audio books, although she switched her interest to mysteries. She also loved to listen to music and had hundreds of CDs, which were filed alphabetically in baskets, and she knew the location of each and every one! She will be deeply missed by all and will be forever in our hearts.

A celebration of life will take place after the internment of her ashes at Pine Hills Cemetery.
