Oriana Margarida Baker

After a hard painful but incredible 11 years battle of health complications it is with deeply heavy hearts that we announce that our Wife/Mother Oriana Baker gained her wings at the age of 52 on October 22.2021. Predeceased by both her parents, Jose and Alda Terceira her grandmother Maria Andrade , her siblings Carlos, Lucy and Alda. She is survived by her loving husband Michael her 2 daughters Jessica & Spouse Ernest ,Melanie & Spouse Tevin Her Francis babies Shelby,Faith,Kaiden, Her 5 grandchildren: Tyrrel, Jaylah, Anayah, Zaryah and Armani. Her Sisters Fernanda, Rosa and Paulina. Her sister-in-laws, her aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Oriana had a heart of gold and was a mother to many. No matter your story she never judged and always made you feel welcomed and did it with open arms. Oriana will always be known to her family and friends as the strongest warrior Earth has ever seen. Oriana was the definition of strength and fight. Even one the hardest days she did her best to still have the most beautiful smile on her face that would light up a whole room. Oriana cared deeply of her Roman Catholic religion and always trusted God to guide her through her dark days. God knew she would never give up, she would continue to fight so he decided he would call her home so she can finally live pain free.

A Visitation for Oriana will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough, ON M1R2Y8. Due to the COVID guidelines guests are still required to follow the mandate of two metres (six feet) physical distancing. 50 people will be permitted in the room at a time. Guests may be required to wait in line prior to entering the funeral home. Upon entry to the funeral home guests will be required to provide their contact information for the purpose of contact tracing. Masks or face coverings are required indoors. A funeral mass will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, 3170 Street Clair Avenue East, Toronto, ON M1L 1V6. An Interment will occur Friday, October 29, 2021 at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, ON M1K 1R1.
