I will miss Reg. He was one of a kind. I always considered him an uncle even though he was my mom, Juanita's cousin. He was helpful, considerate, kind, inclusive, and generous. Betty and Reg were the ultimate hosts. There was never a time when they let someone down. It wouldn't have occurred to them to say no to someone. Reg brought my stuff down from North Bay when I first moved to Toronto back in '74 and was always ready to help and give advice. I know I called him a few times when I had no one to turn to. The time I wanted to buy winter tires the first time and the time I was broken into. Reg was there to help. He was someone I admired and looked up to. I hope he knew. May he rest in peace. My condolences to Paul and Michael and their families.

Dear Paul,Michael,Sarah and family
Our sincere sympathy at this sad time .
Reg was like a big brother to me back in the 40’s/50’s .as he was raised by my parents Pat & Vera Downey because he and his siblings became orphans when their mother Lorraine(Vera’s sister)passed away at a very young age.
I have such fond memories of when your mom and dad would visit North Bay back in the early days.
Reg was a very intelligent, strong, independent man whom I will always remember with much love.
May he Rest In Peace with his beloved Betty.
Hugs to each of you.
Colleen & Dennis
