It is with great sadness that the family of Stanley “Stan” Reuby announces his passing at Sunnybrook Hospital on July 24, 2025. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Stan was predeceased by his wives, Sheilagh (1982) and Judith (2020), as well as by his three brothers and two sisters.
A longtime resident of Scarborough, Stan loved dogs and was a devoted pet parent to Kelly and Princess, often seen walking his companions through the neighbourhood and striking up friendships with neighbours along the way.
Professionally, he served as Vice President of Toronto Gear Works, where he worked until his retirement in 1997.
In retirement, Stan fulfilled his passion for travel, exploring South America, Europe, and Asia. He especially treasured his later years spent at his condo in Fort Lauderdale.in the winter monthś.
At Stan’s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in his memory may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook Hospital.
