KIRKHOPE, William. It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Bill Kirkhope on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the age of 94. Bill was predeceased by Jean his beloved wife of 70 years. Bill was the loving father of Janice (Bill deceased) and Lynne (Chris); cherished grandfather of Keely (Francis), Erin (Tom), Alexander (Victoria) and Danielle (Peter); and a devoted great-grandfather to 8 great-grandchildren. Bill was a proud Scotsman who enjoyed fine malt whiskeys and baking the family’s shortbread and New Year’s bun. We will greatly miss our dad and his traditions but we take comfort in keeping him close in our hearts.
A memorial visitation for William will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E, Scarborough, ON M1R2Y8.
