Bessie Amoriello passed away on Thursday July 8th, 2021 at her residence in White Plains. She was 104 years old. Bessie was born on September 30, 1916 in White Plains NY to Thomas Meccariello and Lucia Buono. Bessie grew up in White Plains and later became a cook for White Plains High School for many years before her retirement. Bessie is the loving mother to Anthony (the late Nancy) Amoriello and Thomas (Elaine) Amoriello. Also surviving are her beloved grandchildren Debra Arancio, Denise (John) Hartzell, Anthony (Christine) Amoriello Jr., Thomas Amoriello Jr., Alexander (Rosie) Amoriello, and Audrey (Matthew) Tauber, as well as 15 Great Grandchildren. Bessie is predeceased by her husband Alexander Sr. and her son Alexander Amoriello Jr.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday July 13, 2021 10AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Scarsdale. Interment Mount Calvary Cemetery White Plains. Visitation will be on Monday July 12, 2021 from 4-7PM at the Edwin L. Bennett F uneral Homes 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale NY.
