Denis William Noonan

Denis William Noonan, of Eastchester NY, died peacefully on December 6th, 2021 with his loving wife Rita at his side at White Plains Hospital. Denis was born on April 25th, 1945 to Denis P and Margaret A Noonan of Washington Heights, NY.

After graduating from George Washington High School, Denis was a lifelong member of Plumbers Local 2 and Plumbers Local 1. He was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish for many years. He was also a proud supporter of Iona Prep, Fordham Prep, Manhattan College, and The Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Denis is survived by his wife, Rita, and children, Robert and Pierce of Eastchester, NY, Kristin Beirne and husband John of Riverdale, NY, and Denis and wife JP of Blauvelt, NY. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Sean and Cara Beirne, and Ryan, Connor, Emma, Jack, and Luke Noonan.

In addition, he is survived by siblings Richard, Margie Rice, Mary Ware (Dick) James (Debbie), Timothy (Louise) and Claire Linehan (Dan), along with many nieces and nephews, to whom he was their conscience and (often unprompted) life coach/advice giver. He is predeceased by his brother Joseph, sister-in-law Dot, and brother-in-law Jack Rice.

Visitation will be at Edwin L Bennett Funeral Home, 824 Scarsdale Ave, Scarsdale NY 10583 on Friday, December 10 from 4-7PM.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima, 5 Strathmore Rd, Scarsdale, NY 10583 on Saturday, December 11 at 10AM.

In lieu of flowers, please take your family out for a bagel, and maybe even two. Donations in his name would also be appreciated at The Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Wounded Warriors.
