Tommy lived with passion, loyalty, and a genuine love for the people and pursuits that mattered most to him. He was a devoted son to his parents, Thomas and Christine (Reardon) Camisa; a loving brother to his sisters, Elizabeth (Sheerin) and Regina; a cherished brother-in-law to James, Elizabeth’s husband; and a devoted uncle to James, Emma, and Jack Sheerin.
A proud graduate of Fordham Preparatory School and Manhattan College, Tommy spent many years with DeFoe Corporation, most recently serving as General Superintendent. He approached his work with dedication and integrity, but what he valued most were the relationships he built along the way.
One of the greatest joys of Tommy’s life was being an uncle. He adored his nephews and niece and took immense pride in each of them. Whether cheering them on, making them laugh, or simply spending time together, Tommy embraced his role wholeheartedly. The bond they shared brought him constant happiness.
Tommy was also an avid golfer, a passion deeply woven into who he was. The golf course was his happy place—a source of peace, challenge, and camaraderie. He treasured early mornings, friendly competition, and rounds shared with friends. Golf was more than a pastime; it reflected his patience, focus, and love of the outdoors.
Above all, Tommy was a loyal and dependable friend. He was the kind of person who showed up, checked in, and could always be counted on. To many, he was more than a friend—he was a brother. His friendships were rooted in trust, humor, and genuine care.
A devoted New York sports fan and someone who truly loved life, Tommy embraced every moment with enthusiasm and heart. He valued connection, laughter, and making memories, and did so effortlessly.
Though his life was far too short, Tommy will be remembered for his deep love of family, his pride in being an uncle, his passion for golf, and the brotherhood he shared with so many. He will be profoundly missed and forever loved.
