Darlee Mae (Bender) Davis

DarLee Mae Davis, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 7, 2022 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Davis, together they shared 70 years of marriage. Born in Lebanon, PA on March 10, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Calvin W. Bender and the late Carrie L. (Kissinger) Bender. Besides her loving husband and parents, she was preceded in death by, three brothers, Ronald, Bruce and Galen, and sister, Faye. She is survived by her four children, Douglas Davis, of Myerstown; Ricky Davis, of Lebanon; Debra Spannuth-Gouker, of Brunswick, GA; and Darryl Davis, of Myerstown; sister, Glenda, her nine grandchildren, Angela, Troy, Jennifer, Heather, Wesley, Melissa, Nicole, Michelle, and Amanda; her many great grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews. DarLee was a loving, kind hearted mother, grandmother, friend and Ma. She was a dedicated Boscov’s employee for over thirty years. After retirement, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, spending quality time with her family, which included cooking her most treasured chicken pot pie, and baking her delightful black joe cupcakes.
