Edna S Sensenig Martin

Edna S. Martin, 66, of Myerstown, PA, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, PA. She was the wife of Alvin H. Martin with whom she was married to for 45 years. She was born in New Holland, PA, on April 10, 1946, a daughter of the late H. Ivan and Esther Sauder Sensenig. She was employed for 18 years by Good’s Store in Schaefferstown in the customer service department. Edna was a member of the Fairview Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference. Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Nadine S. married to Thomas Weaver of New Holland; Kathryn S. married to Edwin Martin, Jr. of Quarryville; Vernon S. married to Alicia Greiner of Lebanon; Cleon S. married to Sheila Greiner of Manheim; Brenda S. married to Eric Weaver of Mohnton; twenty grandchildren and one great grandson; sisters, Anna Mary married to Myron Weaver of Richland; Esther married to Irvin Garman of Myerstown; Rebecca married to Wilmer Brubaker of Myerstown; Martha married to Noah Burkholder of New Holland; Charlotte married to Harlan Horst of Denver; Mabel married to Richard Weaver of Annville; Arlene married to Clifford Nolt of Lititz; Dorothy married to Harlan Weaver of East Earl; brothers, John married to Elma Faye Sensenig of Romulus, NY; Hershey married to Ruth Sensenig of Romulus, NY; Melvin married to Marian Sensenig of Newville; Raymond married to Nancy Sensenig of Wyomissing; Glenn Sensenig of Lititz; Irvin married to Jean Sensenig of Stevens; Nelson married to Linda Sensenig of Ephrata. She was preceded in death by a son, Alvin S. Martin, Jr. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM in the Fairview Mennonite Church, Elco Drive, Myerstown, PA. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, 141 Jackson Road, Lebanon, PA.
