Henry Jerry Gerald Sanders

Henry G. “Jerry” Sanders, 72, of Myerstown, died Monday, July 1, 2013 in his residence. He was the husband of Sharon K. Lebo Sanders with whom he was married to for 51 years. He was born in Loysville, PA on February 21, 1941, a son of the late Patrick and Gail Nesbitt Sanders. Jerry was a journeyman for Met-Ed, where he was employed for 32 years. He was a member of the Mt. Aetna Bible Church; he served in the US Army and was a 1959 graduate of Schaefferstown High School. Some of Jerry’s hobbies included, running, biking, woodworking /carving, golfing and enjoyed music and reading. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Lisa Rivera of FL; Julie wife of Roger Kraus of MD; Erica wife of Michael Gettle of Myerstown; sister, Linda wife of Al Pines of VA; grandchildren, Kyle Weihs, Kody Weihs, Anna Kraus, Kaela Gettle and Ethan Gettle. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Aetna Bible Church, Mill & Chestnut St., Mt. Aetna, PA. Interment will be made in the Schaefferstown Cemetery. NO VIEWING. A visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
