Kenneth R Daub

Kenneth R. Daub, 67, of Bethel, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in his home. He was the husband of Maryanne L. Bucher Daub with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage in July. He was born in Bethel on September 17, 1950, a son of the late Thomas and Agnes Moyer Daub. Kenneth was a retired truck driver working for McQuaide Trucking in Bethel as a mechanic and also worked at Wissahickon Water Co. in Hamburg as a yard jockey. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, completing puzzles and working on train sets. His family surprised him earlier in the month with a birthday party for family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters, Katrina Henderson of Pine Grove; Kathryn Daub and fiancé Terry Kiebach of Strausstown; Kristine Brown and husband Dewey of Newmanstown; grandchildren, Kaitlin Gacono; Madison Henderson; Laura Henderson; brothers, Robert Daub of CA; Ray Daub of Mt. Aetna; Larry Daub of Strausstown; sister, Lucille Shomo of Muhlenberg and pet dog, Tootie. He also would have had another granddaughter, Kendra, who will be born in December and named after him. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:30 am in Clauser Funeral Home, 116 N. Carpenter Street, Schaefferstown with a viewing beginning on Tuesday at 9:30 am.
