Margaret Ann Horst Kurchak

Margaret Ann Kurchak, 71, of Schaefferstown, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 in the Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of Michael J. Kurchak. She was born in Schaefferstown on June 12, 1940, a daughter of the late George Horst, Sr. and Margaret Ruth Horst. She was a retired 37 year employee of Warner Lambert/Pfizer in Lititz. She was a 1958 graduate of Schaefferstown High School. Margaret Ann was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Schaefferstown and enjoyed gardening, music and loved her family. Surviving in addition to her husband of 27 years are daughters, Cindy wife of Steven Ream and Cathy Dunkleberger and husband Dennis both of Myerstown; grandsons, Tony White, Gregory Ream, Kyle Ream and Brent Ream; brothers, Thomas Horst of Lebanon; James husband of Sharon Horst of Schaefferstown; George Horst, Jr. and Joanne of Myerstown; sisters, Lorraine wife of Kenneth Krall of Schaefferstown; Grace wife of Dennis Schaeffer of Newmanstown. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Hitz and grandson, Eric Ream. Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be made in the Schaefferstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Luke Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 278, Schaefferstown, PA 17088. Clauser Funeral Home, Inc. is handling her arrangements.
