Mark B. Eberly

Mark B. Eberly, 85 of Myerstown passed away in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital on Friday, February 14, 2025. He was born in South Lebanon Township, Lebanon County on June 14, 1939, a son of the late Marvin and Elsie (Balsbaugh) Eberly. Mark was the husband of the late Rachel Lena (Noecker) Eberly who passed away on October 24, 2014. Mark was a truck driver for Wengert's Dairy until he fell ill with Guillain barre disease and was confined to a wheelchair for the last 46 years of his life. He handled his illness with a great attitude and was an encouragement to many people throughout the years. He enjoyed antique tractor shows and especially Farmall tractors. He loved his family and enjoyed visits with them. Mark was a member of the Heidelberg Brethren Church. Surviving are his sons: M. Dale Eberly and wife Ann L. of Bernville; Steven N. Eberly and wife Marie E. of Richland; Donald A. Eberly and wife Ella F. of Myerstown; Thomas D. Eberly and wife Dana M. of Lebanon: fourteen grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; brother Paul Eberly and wife Wilma of Hagerstown, MD; sister in law: Rita Garber of Chambersburg; numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by brothers: Alan, Amos, and Luke Eberly. Funeral service will be held in the Heidelberg Brethren Church 162 East Reistville Road, Schaefferstown, PA 17088 on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Viewing on Thursday, February 20,2025 from 4 to 8 PM and also on Friday from 9 to 10 AM, ALL AT THE CHURCH. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery.
