Stella Smith Flory Yoder

Stella Smith Yoder, 89, formerly of Reistville, PA, died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in the StoneRidge Towne Centre, Myerstown, PA. She was the wife of the late John L. Yoder. She was born November 6, 1921 in Lawn, PA a daughter of the late John L. and Hannah Smith Flory. Stella was a devoted, caring, and dedicated mother, who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a full time mother and a part-time cafeteria employee, working for the ELCO School District for 16 years. She was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church where she taught Sunday school and attended church regularly. She volunteered for many years in the kitchen at Schaefferstown Fire Company. She is survived by children, John Yoder, Glenn Yoder, Carol Kleinfelter, Donna Nies, Dale Yoder, Sandra Hartman, Dennis Yoder, Karen Fisher, Lee Yoder, Joanna Miller and Patti Penvose; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family. Funeral service will be held on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at 12:00 PM in the Clauser Funeral Home, N. Carpenter St., Schaefferstown, PA with a viewing beginning on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment will be made in the Millbach Community Cemetery.
