Arthur was an insurance adjuster for Travellers Insurance Co. and a member of Pelagic Sailing Club. Arthur and his former wife, Ardelle (Killory) raised 10 children on Grand View Ave, Quincy.
Loving father of Kathleen, Peter, David, Constance Sweeney-Gonzales all of CA, Sheila Bouchie of Weymouth, Maura Lindberg of VA, Paul of Boston, Brian of HI, John F. of China and the late Michael.
Brother of William of Hingham, the late Major Gen. Charles W, John, Paul and Marilyn Burns. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Friday, July 18th from 5PM-8PM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St, Scituate on Saturday, July 18th at 10AM.
Burial will be in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Monday, July 21st at 10AM.
