Stephen resided in Scituate for 43 years with his beloved wife of 46 years, Katherine M. (Greene) Brennion, who, at the age of 12, told her grandmother, "That's the boy I want to marry. "That boy" entered the world on January 12th, 1947 in Quincy, son of the late Janet W. (Purdon) and Carl J. Brennion.
Stephen attended Quincy High School, Mass Maritime Academy and became a Merchant Marine. He retired as a Nuclear Engineer from the Pilgrim Power Plant in Plymouth, but wasn't ready to stop working. He soon would meet his "second family" at Cushing Elementary School in Scituate, where he worked as a Custodian until his health declined.
In addition to his wife and best friend Kathy, Stephen is survived by his daughter Michele K. Lazcano and her husband Jon Paul, his daughter Cori E. Trombly and her husband Jason, his late sons David William and Stephen Alexander Brennion, and four Grandchildren: Shane (11), James (8), Brennan (8), and Owen (4), all of whom live or rest in Scituate. He is also survived by his loving sister Janet Marcus, niece and nephew Greg Marcus and Greta Perry, and his younger sister Nancy Brennion of Wrentham. There are so many people in Steve's extended family and countless friends who he loved and cherished dearly.
Stephen passed from Advanced Melanoma, and his family would like to remind people about the importance of annual skin checks and wearing sunscreen.
