Carol has been a fixture in the Scituate and South Shore community for 40 years after being born and raised in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania.
Known as the 'Cocker Lady' she bred and raised American Cocker Spaniels for 4 decades. Her puppies gave joy to so many families near and far. She loved working with people as a travel consultant for many decades in the local area. Carol was tireless in her efforts to help friends in the community and was actively involved in many dog related organizations.
She is most known for her sense of humor and infectious laughter and will be fondly remembered with a cigarette and jellybeans in hand and Starbucks coffee by her side. She leaves behind a sister, Anne, Niece, Anne and 4 nephews; David, Philip, Tom and Rob and grand nieces and nephews who will miss her wonderful spirit. Carol was educated at Walnut Hill Academy and Briarcliff College where she made lifelong friends as she did everywhere she went.
Carol lived life to the fullest her way with independence, spontaneity and laughter mixed into every single day.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests making a donation to an animal rescue of your choice. Words of comfort can be left at www.richardsongaffeyfuneralhome.com
