Carol was born on July 14th, 1948 to Edward and Helen (Harvey) Trubiano in Hough's Neck where as a child she went clamming and swimming at Harvey's Wharf. She loved roller skating with Marilyn at DiMarzio's roller rink and dancing to music at the Surf in Nantasket. After graduating from Quincy High School in 1966 she went on to work at Quincy District Courthouse. In 1991 Carol moved to her beloved Town of Scituate, where she entertained friends at B dock in Scituate Harbor, where she and Chuck docked their boat.
Carol enjoyed vacationing with Chuck in Sebastian FL. Perhaps after the love and devotion to her family, her biggest passion was cooking. Over the years hundreds of people would rave about the meals she created. Carol was an incredibly talented and dependable woman who solved any problem or issue at hand and gave fully of herself without ever seeking recognition or reward. Her home had an open door where all were welcome and regaled. She lovingly donated money to charitable causes such as St Jude Children's Hospital and Wounded Warrior Project, among many others. She never judged anyone and always made everyone feel important and special.
Carol is predeceased by her parents, along with her brother Eddie Trubiano and sister Jeannie Brennan. She leaves behind her beloved husband Chuck and treasured children Carrie Davis, Jason McColgan and Jodie Collett, as well as sister Judy Michaelangelo, and four grandchildren, Nicholas Crawford, Brandon Crawford, Kylie Collett and Chloe Davis.
A visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Scituate on Sunday January 3rd from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
