Dennis A. Hart

Dennis grew up in Arlington and then Whitman, the son of Marilyn E. (Farrar) Hart and the late George A. Hart, he was a graduate of WH High School. Dennis was the beloved husband of 40 years to wife Susan V. Hart (Ward). Also survived by his sister, Sue Pulsifer of Whitman, brothers;, Jeff Hart and his wife Michelle of Whitman, John Hart and his wife Erica of E. Bridgewater brother in law of the late Stephen L. Ward of Cohasset and his wife Judy, son in law of the late George M. & Viriginia B. Ward of Scituate and many nieces and nephews.

Dennis had an interest in electronics from an early age. He graduated from Mass Radio, TV& Electronics School and went on to work to at several jobs in the radio & alarm industry before buying Automatic Alarm in 1994. Dennis was a 40 year member of the South Shore Model Railway Club, he volunteered for many years with Norwell Boy Scout Troop #44 and achieved his Wood Badge- the highest level of Leadership Training. He was a member of the Church Hill United Methodist Church in Norwell.

Dennis was honest and fair in business and in life; he will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind spirit, generosity of his time, and his extensive collection & knowledge of model trains. He was a HAM radio operator, & a teacher & instructor for MSCA. He was a sports fan; especially the Red Sox. Dennis will be missed by his cherished yellow lab puppy, Sophie Rose.

Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 30th, at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate from 4 to 8pm, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Harbor United Methodist Church, 55 First Parish Rd., Scituate at 11am, Friday, May 1st.
