Frances L. Grondell

Frances L. (Booth) Grondell, 103, of Scituate, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2021. She was the beloved wife for more than 72 years to the late Adolph Grondell. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Booth.

Devoted mother to Joanne Sansoucie and her husband Bob of Bridgewater, John Hodgman and his wife Mary of Canton, Kenneth Grondell of Scituate, and Richard Grondell, his wife Patricia of Braintree. Grandmother to Karen, Jackie, Kenneth, Garret, Richard, Jennifer, Michelle, Robin, and many great grandchildren. Sister to Betty, Dave, Shirley, Russell. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many friends and acquaintances.

A visitation is scheduled from 8:30 am to 9:30am on Thursday, June 3, at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral Mass for family and close friends on Thursday, June 3, at 10:00a am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate followed by interment at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
