Henry G. Vickers Jr.

Vickers-Henry G., Jr., of Scituate, passed on Jan. 10, 2011 at the age of 53. Henry is survived by his mother, Joan T. DeLapp of Bourne; step-mother, Juanita B. Vickers of Viera, FL; .daughter, Kelly L. Vickers of Scituate; brother, Timothy C. Vickers of Mansfield; and sister, Emily M. Vickers of Cambridge. He is son of the late Henry G. Vickers, Sr. He is also survived by two aunts, an uncle and a multitude of cousins. Henry was born in Norwalk, CT and grew up in Wilton, CT where he graduated from Wilton High School. He went on to Cornell University and received a Bachelors

of Science degree in Hotel Administration. He has been a Scituate resident for twenty-three years. Henry worked for the Beacon Hotel Corporation before becoming a Director at AEW Capital Management. He enjoyed spending time with Kelly and his many friends, golfing, travelling and taking family trips to Nantucket. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Friday, Jan. 14th, from 4-8PM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate. A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, Jan 15th, at the First Trinitarian Congregational Church, 381 Country Way, Scituate. The family burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scituate Animal Shelter, 780 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate, MA 02066.
