WIZA, Jack Casimir- It is with great sadness that the family of Jack Wiza announces his passing on May 29, 2018 at the age of 18. Jack will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Elizabeth Wiza of Scituate, his father, Joseph Wiza, his wife Jennifer of North Grafton and his brother Nick, 15, also of Scituate. He is also survived by his step sister Carleigh and step brother Tanner.
Jack will be forever remembered by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Kemp of Concord, MA, his maternal aunts and uncles, Carolyn (Eric), Margaret, Robert, Amy (Joseph), and Katie (Ryan) as well as by his paternal aunts and uncles, Rachel (Ben), Mark, and Alison. Jack’s memory will be cherished by his many cousins. Jack will be forever in the heart of Lisa Page, his private duty nurse who has been by his side for 15 years, and her family and friends.
Jack had profound disabilities and several medical complexities. Although he was not able to talk, he spoke volumes through his eyes, expressions, and vocalizations. Jack loved his brother Nicky, his dog Emmie, school, Elmo, his cozy bed, and playing under his toy bar. Jack giggled at the sing-song rhythms of nursery rhymes, loved his books, and being read to by his mama.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 6 from 4pm to 8pm at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, MA. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 11am at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate, MA.
