Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Basil and Margaret (O’Connell) Bailey. Devoted father of James Bailey of Plymouth, Peter Bailey of Mashpee, the late Paul Bailey and the late John Bailey. Loving brother of Virginia Smith of Weymouth. Also survived by his 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate Harbor. Interment immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Meeting House Lane, Scituate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
