Julia F. Brand

Born and raised in Scituate, she is a 1935 graduate of Scituate H.S. Julia was a Bedford resident since 1954. She was a past Master of Bedford Grange #238, Bedford, Deputy Grandmaster of MA State Grange, Matron of Paul Revere Chapter OES, Bedford, Deputy Grand Matron of MA OES, and member of First Church of Christ, Bedford. Julia enjoyed baking and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by a son; Robert S. Brand and his fiancé Christine Doyle of Bedford, 3 grandchildren; Renee Brand Rosalia and her partner Michelle Edmunds of Englewood, CO, Edward W. Brand and his fiancé Amanda Piette of Concord, NH, and Jarrod M. Brand and his wife Shane of Scituate, and 2 great-grandchildren; Kylee Bancroft-Brand and Abigail Brand. Julia is sister of the late Pauline F. Guivens and John S. Fitts.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, Feb. 18th from 4-8PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19th at 10AM at the funeral home followed by burial in Cudworth Cemetery, Scituate.

In lieu of flowers donations in Julia’s name may be made to the charity of choice.
