Lillian Griswold

Lillian was born and raised in Somerville, MA, the daughter of the late Louis and Alexandra (Hakar) Robbat. The oldest of 4 children, she was a graduate of Somerville High School. She went on to serve in the United States Navy during WWII. She met and married Perley Griswold and they settled in Scituate in 1962, where they raised their 6 children. She enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family.

She was the devoted mother of Bruce Griswold of Quincy, Nancy Griswold of Scituate, Brenda Randall and her husband Ronald of Plymouth, Alex Griswold of Lynn, Norman Griswold of Scituate and the late Janice Griswold, who passed away in 1998.

Cherished grandmother of Melissa Porter and her husband John of Pembroke, Kathryn Morini and her husband Matthew of Plymouth, Holly Randall of Plymouth and the late Amanda Randall. She was also the proud great grandmother of 8 great grandchildren.

Loving sister of the late Thomas Robbat, Albert Robbat and Jeannette O’Brien and her husband James.

She will be laid to rest with US Navy military honors in a private family service beside her late husband at Union Cemetery in Scituate.
