Born August 10, 1925 in Quincy, she was the devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Pantano) Iacobucci and sister of the late Joseph and Michael Iacobucci. She was a graduate of Quincy High School and Burdett College and went on to work for many years as an executive assistant for several companies.
An avid traveler, she never said ‘no’ to a trip. Italy was one of her favorite destinations. She was a creative person and enjoyed craft-making and gifting her creations to family and friends. Living in Fort Pierce, Florida, she enjoyed being social and loved to dance, spend time by the pool and play bocce with friends. Mary was quick to share her love of Italian food, cooking and baking, and thoroughly enjoyed teaching her granddaughters her favorite recipes. She cherished being pen pals with her granddaughter; a simple gift of stamps was always well received.
She was the beloved mother of Stephen Folino and his wife Kathy of Rockland, Karen McHugh of Lowell, and Richard Folino of Quincy.
She was proudest of her title of “Nonna” to her grandchildren: Aja Amontea, Cara Folino, Ryan McHugh, Kaitlin Cey, Lauren McHugh, Nicole Folino and John Folino; and great grandchildren Rhys and Wren Amontea; Peyton, Paisley and Parker Cey; Bianca and Brooklyn McHugh; and Hunter, Nora and Eden Folino.
A private family ceremony will be held. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.richardsongaffeyfuneralhome.com for the Folino family.
