Mary Joanne Lawrence

LAWRENCE, Mary “Joanne” (Garrity), of Scituate passed away at Tufts Medical Center on March 9, 2010, at the age of 73. Joanne is survived by her life-long companion and husband of 53 years, Charles E. Lawrence, a son, Charles Jr. of Amherst, NH, and his wife, Elaine, and their sons, Sam, Ben and Jacob, a daughter, Heidi A. of Scituate, MA and her son, Michael Caliri, and a daughter Sarah J. (Lawrence) Donovan of Framingham and her husband, R. Michael Donovan and their son, Michael. Joanne is also survived by a brother, John “Jack” P. Garrity of Orlando, FL, and a sister, Elizabeth L. (Garrity) Houhoulis of Roanoke, VA. She was the daughter of William and Eunice (Jones) Garrity. Joanne predeceased a brother, William L. Garrity of Maple Grove, MN. Friends may call at Richardson Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate, MA on Sunday, March 14 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 15 at 10:30 AM at Saint Luke's Episcopal Church, 465 First Parish Road, Scituate, MA. The burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
