Mary Queeney

Mary (Horgan) Queeney – 93, longtime resident of Scituate, MA passed away peacefully January 9, 2015 at the Cardigan Nursing Home. She was beloved wife of the late Daniel Queeney with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

She was the devoted mother of Daniel J. Queeney & his wife Marie of Scituate, MA, John T. Queeney & his wife Lisa of Springfield, VA, and Mary N. Queeney-Clark & her husband Walter of Southbridge, MA.

Cherished grandmother of Johnny Queeney, Anna Queeney, Keith Osborne, Geoffrey Osborne, Jason Osborne, Tabitha Clark and Bethany Clark. Great grandmother of Emily, Nash, Gavin and Sam. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 siblings.

She was a former member of the Ladies’ Sodality at St. Mary of the Nativity Church in Scituate, MA. She was known for her keen wit and her love of playing Bingo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate, MA. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery. Visiting hours at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home on Sunday January 18, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
