CONLON, Michael J.- age 83, of Hingham, formerly of Scituate, passed away on January 4, 2026. He was the loving husband of the late Suellen (Mahar) Conlon. Son of the late Andrew J. and Alice B. Conlon, he is survived by his children Michelle Conlon of Hull, Michael Conlon and his wife, Alison, of Winchester and Christine Ryan and her husband, Rob, of Stoughton; four grandchildren, Miles and Paige Conlon and Quinn and Merritt Ryan; Loving brother of Kevin Conlon and his wife, Anne, and the late Jane Conlon. Loving Uncle to a niece and nephews as well as grand-nieces and a grand-nephew.
Michael, a graduate of Georgetown Dental School, practiced for many years in Hingham. He was a talented pianist, wood carver and artist. He enjoyed hiking and gathering with his weekly walking and coffee group. The dogs he adopted from local animal shelters became wonderful companions.
At Michael’s request there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Massachusetts Humane Society, The Scituate Animal Shelter or the Joslin Diabetes Clinic @ joslin.org/giving.
