He leaves behind his loving parents, Michael A Czorniak of Indianapolis, and Maura Sullivan of Scituate, and his five siblings; Lea Czorniak of Scituate, Patrick Czorniak of Boston, Lauren Czorniak of Boston, Sean Sullivan of Scituate and Kate Sullivan of Scituate. Michael also leaves behind his loving stepparents, Dawn Czorniak and Christopher Sullivan, thirteen aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins.
Born and raised in the South Shore of Boston, Michael was always known for his bright smile and gentle temperament. He was an avid Boston sports fan, and spent much of his time outdoors, hiking and snowboarding. His love and skill as a musician, specifically the guitar, especially inspired his parents. Michael graduated from Boston College High School and the New England Institute of Art, where he turned his love for music into a career in the audio production industry. Most recently, Michael traveled on a three month hike through Thailand and Nepal, spending three weeks meditating in a Buddhist Monastery. During his later years, he grew to value the importance of self-reflection, and spent much of his time reading books, practicing yoga and exercising. Michael will truly be missed by his family, friends and those he met on his travels.
His family will host Visiting Hours on Thursday, August 27th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road Scituate. A funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 28th at 10AM in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent Street, Scituate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Save the Children Fund (savethechildren.org) for their work with Nepalese Earthquake relief.
