

Paul served with the U.S. Marines, participating in various major campaigns during the Korean Conflict, receiving the Purple Heart and various other awards and ribbons.
He was a member of the Cape Cod Marine Corps League and former NAS South Weymouth Aero Club. Paul enjoyed many activities such as tennis, golf, bird watching, flying planes but his most precious activity was being a grandfather, fondly called Dada, Papa or Dado.
Paul is the loving father of Carol Hoban of Plymouth, Susan Paliulis of Scituate, Paul J. Hoban of Evanston, IL, Mary Regina Faherty of Norwell and Christine Caron of Claremont, CA. Brother of Earl Edward Hoban of Raynham. Proud grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 2. Also survived by a very special nephew, Brian, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family are invited to attend visiting hours at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Thursday, August 30th from 4PM to 8PM. Funeral from the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, on Friday, August 31st at 8AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, Scituate at 9AM. Burial to follow in Mass National Cemetery, Bourne.
