He was the devoted father of Erin T. Costello of Scituate.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late William and Alberta (Higgins) Costello.
He is also survived by his brother William Costello and his wife Eileen of Hyde Park. Former husband and friend of Sandra Costello of Weymouth.
He was a US Navy Veteran and longtime member of Boilermakers Local 29.
Graveside funeral at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Meetinghouse Ln., Scituate on Friday March 11, 2016 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Road, Scituate on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 4-8 PM.
