WHITFIELD, Wayne E., life-long resident of Scituate, passed away on March 7, 2011, at the age of 50. Wayne obtained a Culinary Arts Degree from Newbury College and worked as a professional chef. Devoted son of Peter and Barbara (Elliott) of Scituate. Loving brother of Peter, Jr. and his wife Peg of Plymouth, Susan of Scituate, Scott and his wife Lisa of Pheonix, AZ, and Craig of Salt Lake City, UT. Also survived by Cliff Watkins and his wife Kate O’Brien of Newark, DE, many nieces and nephews and hundreds of good friends, especially within the Vanning Community. Friends and family are invited to attend visiting hours on March11 from 4 pm to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate on Saturday, March 12 at 12 10:30 am.
