Arthur B Sanchez Sr.

Arthur was born in Scottsbluff on February 3, 1940 to Ruben and Christina (Castaneda) Sanchez. He worked a long career in roofing and was known for love of his family, cooking, and keno. He was a very loving son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will truly be missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia of Scottsbluff; his children, Veronica (Arnaldo) Casillas of Scottsbluff, Arthur Sanchez Jr. of Denver CO, Valerie Sanchez of San Antonio, TX, Christina (Steve) Mercado of Lytle, TX, Rodney Sanchez of Scottsbluff, Vanessa (Phillip) Aguirri of San Antonio, TX, and Ruben Sanchez of Scottsbluff.

He is also survived by his siblings, Teresa Quijas, Genevieve Sanchez, Virginia Castillo of Lincoln, NE, and brother, Frank Sanchez Sr. of Scottsbluff, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He's preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond and Pete Cervantes, Robert, Steven, and George Sanchez; and sister, Mary Sanchez.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 29th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church from 3-5:30pm, with a rosary beginning at 7pm. A burial mass will be held on Wednesday, December 30th at 11am. Masks will be required upon attendance. A livestream for services will also be available on Dugan Kramer's Website.
