Barbara Bobby Deans

Barbara J. “Bobby” Deans, age 81, of Scottsbluff passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Heritage Estates in Gering. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Heritage Estate Chapel in Gering. Memorials may be made to the Deans Family in care of Cris Dietrich. Bobby was born April 23, 1933 at Scottsbluff to Lon William and Florence Hildred (Conklin) Beck. She graduated from Victory Hill School as Valedictorian. She later attended and graduated from Denver Business College.

On October 5, 1950 she was united into marriage to Kenney F. Deans and made their home in Scottsbluff. Bobby’s first love was spending time with her family. She also enjoyed nature, birds, gardening, and bowling.

Survivors include husband Kenney Deans; daughter-in-law Jeanann Deans of Phoenix, AZ; son Bill (Mary) Deans of Fort Collins; daughters Brenda (Michael) Smith of Columbia, MO., Crystal (Oak) Dietrich of Lyman, and Tina (Jeff) Hansen of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Josh Deans, Kara Brown, Erin Coleman, Tyler Smith, Meggie Hess, Tanner Smith, Mitchel Dietrich, Matt Landen, Kyle Hansen, and Keegan Hansen; and great-grandchildren Madison, Brooklyn, Camden, Cooper, Elli, and soon to be baby boy Hess.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, son Mike Deans, and grandson Nicholas Deans.
