Barbara A Muhr

Memorial graveside services for Dwayne and Barbara, together again will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 1:30 pm at Chaulk Creek Cemetery with Pastor Rick Parker officiating. Barb was born on November 1, 1946, in Sylvan Grove, Kansas, to Dale and Lila (Kisiska) Standley. She received her early education in Sylvan Grove, Kansas, and graduated from Minatare High School in Minatare, NE. She attended Tech School in Denver, Colorado.

She married Louis Farro on October 20, 1965, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. On March 10, 1980, she married her soulmate Dwayne Muhr in Banner County, NE, where they made their home.

Barb was a farm wife who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, raising African violets, baking for school activities, and loved taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Louise Bennett; sons Robert (Stephanie) Farro and John (Bridget) Farro; stepdaughters Teri and Tina of Alaska; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Barbara Standley and brother-in-law Ambrosio Ochoa.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Dwayne Muhr, parents, brother Larry Standley, sister Sheryl Ochoa, and stepson Tim Muhr.
