Dan Sullivan, age 60, of Bayard, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at his home. A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 12, 2008, at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Cemetery in Oshkosh with Father Neal Nollette officiating. Military honors will be provided by Nebraska National Guard. Friends may visit from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. Daniel Joseph Sullivan was born January 2, 1948, at Fort Collins, Colorado to Richard and Shirley (Bowling) Sullivan. Dan served in the United States Army during Vietnam Era from November 20, 1968 to November 17, 1970. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his daughter, Becky Sullivan of Omaha; grandchildren, Hailey Sullivan, Ethan Barger and McKenna Sullivan all of Omaha; and special friend, Mickey Craig of Bayard. He was preceded in death by his parents.
