Duane Foote

His memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Mitchell Berean Church with Pastor Giles Armstrong officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. The family has requested that casual attire be worn to the service. A memorial has been established to the Mitchell Berean Church. Duane was born on January 27m 1936 at Kimball, Nebraska to Harold and Mildred (Tridle) Foote. He received his early education in Kimball, graduating from Kimball High School. He attended the Scottsbluff Junior College and graduated 1956.

Duane married Doris Mogensen on April 7, 1957 at United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff and made their home in the Scottsbluff/Gering area.

Duane was employed at Associated Grocers and before retiring, he worked at Panhandle Coop as the Petroleum Director.

Survivors include his wife Doris; daughters Tammy (Tom) Flaherty of Littleton, CO and Lori (Bryon) Wilson of Scottsbluff; grandchildren Shaun (Mandy) Flaherty of Highlands Ranch, CO, Hollie (Jarrod) Williams of Scottsbluff, NE, Jason (Andrea) Flaherty of Stuart, FL and Cody Wilson of Scottsbluff, NE; great grandchildren Barron, Bowen and Dixie Williams of Scottsbluff, NE, Jackson and Harper Flaherty of Highlands Ranch, CO, and Brogan and Sybil Flaherty of Stuart, FL. Also he is survived by his sister Barbara (Hugh) Connors; niece Debbie (Lynn) Howell, nephews Gary (Rhonda) Nagel and Jeff Jordan, sister-in-law Shirley (Gale) Pollet and several cousins.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws Fred and Thelma Mogensen, brother-in-law Virgil Nagel, brother and sister-in-law Ron and Bev Jordan and niece Kathy Herricks.

The family would life to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mohammad Siddiqui, Dr. Connie Beehler, Dr. Lisa Scheppers and all the nurses in the intensive care unit and the second floor at Regional West Medical Center.
