She was born to Grace Bohlander Shaughnessy and Frances R. Shaughnessy on January 2, 1935, the youngest of seven children. She was raised in Troy, Ohio, where her father was founder and owner of “Tip Top Potato Chips.” She married Joseph Bosch, Jr. in 1954. Together they had and raised four daughters. She loved her family dearly. Besides being a wife and mother, she also worked at other various jobs. After moving to Scottsbluff, she was employed at Walmart, drove a van for the Armadillo Express Union Pacific Railroad, and later worked at the North Platte River Valley Museum in Gering.
She loved her cats, one of which lived to be in his twenties. They gave her much love and kept her from being lonely in her later years.
She is survived by her daughter Gwendolyn Grace Bosch Mickelsen of Wheatland, WY and daughter Audrey Catherine Erickson of Scottsbluff; grandchildren Nathaniel Mickelsen of Cheyenne, WY, Markus Bosch of Everett, WA, Dustin Clough of Scottsbluff, Amber Murray of Lincoln, Jerrod Lockhart of Scottsbluff, Christian Bosch of Scottsbluff, Jessica Marino of Scottsbluff, Mathew Marino of Scottsbluff, Mellissa Marino of Deerfield Beach, FL and Stephany Potter of Denver, CO and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Frances R. Shaughnessy, mother Grace Bohlander Shaughnessy, brother Robert Shaughnessy, sisters Jean Fisher, Phyllis Shaughnessy, Susan Smith, Martha Shaughnessy and Kathleen Shaughnessy, husband Joseph Bosch, Jr, daughters Cheryll Lynn Bosch Leonhardt and Angela Christine Bosch.
