Harold David Buhr 82 of Ainsworth, Nebraska joined his Heavenly Father on December 5, 2013 at Ainsworth Care Center. There will be Christian service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the East Lawn Cemetery at Minatare, Nebraska. Where there will be Military Honors by the Nebraska National Guard. Friends may call at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel on Monday between 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Cancer Society or Wounded American Veterans. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Harold was born on October 7, 1931 in Jefferson City Mo. to Roy Harold Buhr and Anna Louise (Young) Buhr. Harold was the 1st born child in his family of 12 children, from 5 brothers and 6 sisters. Harold was united in marriage to Socorro M Lopez on July 28,1956 in Bayard Nebraska and to this union he and Socorro had five children. Ernie, Henry, Rosemary, Bobby and David . He enter the United States Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1951 and served in the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1952. Harold and Socorro were Blessed to be married for 40 yrs11 months until the passing of Socorro on June 22, 1997. Harold married Esther Klientobe on June 22, 2012. Survivors include his wife Esther Buhr of Ainsworth Ne. Son and Daughter in Law: Ernie Buhr (Judy), Son and Daughter in law Henry Buhr (Christine) of Gering Ne., Daughter and Son in Law Rose Buhr Kizzire (Doss) of Scottsbluff Ne, Robert Buhr, of Gering Ne and David Buhr of Gilette Wyo. Step-Son Monty Lower of Ainsworth Ne. 12-Grandchildren and 14-Great Grandchildren. Brother Kenneth Buhr of Bayard Ne, Sisters Laura Swanson of Riverside Cal. Mary Morgan of Fort Collins Colo. and Sister in Law Nancy Buhr of Scottsbluff Ne. and many Nieces and Nephews and numerous Cousins and Special friends. Preceding Harold in Death was his 1st wife Socorro Buhr on June 22, 1997. his Brothers Ernie Buhr, Richard Buhr, and Paul Buhr.and his Sisters Betty Buhr Lane and Three infant sisters.
