

Harry L. Aulick, 79, of Scottsbluff, died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at his home. His memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff with Pastors Nancy Tomlinson and Dr. Charles Richardson officiating. The family requests casual attire be worn. Cremation was held at Sunset Memorial Park Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Prairie Haven Hospice. Harry was born April 8, 1929 in Minatare, NE. to Oswald Louis and Ruth Fulton (Johnson) Aulick. He graduated from Minatare High School. He married Shirley Vohland May 27, 1949 in Minatare. They lived in Bayard before moving to Scottsbluff in 1952 when he opened the Beacon Gas Station; the business has steadily grown and developed into Aulick Industries, Aulick Leasing and Aulick’s TLC, which are all family owned. Harry loved to create and build with metal and had a reputation for building quality and long lasting products. Many of his projects are still part of the businesses today. He is survived by his wife: Shirley, daughter: Ginger Aulick, sons: Vinc (Robin) Aulick and Shane (Annette) Aulick all of Scottsbluff, sister: Catherine Weller, Minatare, NE. and brother: Jerry (Millie) Aulick, Gering, NE. He had 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
