Hazel Isabel McPherson

Hazel Isabel McPherson, 98 of Peoria, Arizona, formerly of Scottsbluff, went home to the Lord and Savior Monday, October 15, 2007, at Peoria. Her graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff with Father Don Buhrman officiating. Friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Care Center, 10323 W. Olive, Peoria, Arizona 85345 Hazel was born November 6, 1908, in Algonquin, Illinois. She moved to Scottsbluff at the age of nine. She moved to Peoria, Arizona in 1933. She was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital in Scottsbluff from 1956 to 1975. She was then employed at Northfield Villa from 1976 to 1982. Survivors include her son, Richard (Mimi) McPherson of Peoria, Arizona; son-in-law, Russell Olson of Lodgepole; daughter, Nancy (Jim) Abramson of Sun City West, Arizona; eight grandchildren, Steven (Cindy) Olson, Susan (Ben) Block, Toni (Phillip) Potter, Rick (Regina) McPherson, Barbara (Kirk) Holzgrebe, Mike (Kristi) Abramson, Bob (Margaret) Abramson, John (Kristi) Abramson; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Josephine Miller; her husband, Donald McPherson; her daughter, Betty Olson; and her sister, Ruth Bloom.
