

Jacob (Jack) Lackman, 77, of Lyman, Nebraska passed away Friday morning, May 29, 2015 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday June 2, 2015 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Lyman with Reverend Robert Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday, June 1, 2015 at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel. Jack was born January 27, 1938 in a little house by Creighton Valley to Jake and Emma (Keller) Lackman. He received his education at Creighton Valley and Melbeta schools.
Jack married Audrey Weber on November 26, 1967 and moved to the Lyman-Huntley area. To this union they had a daughter, Laurie and a son, Clint.
Jack was a hard worker and a farmer all of his life. He took pride in his farming and his family. He really enjoyed his grandchildren, playing lotto scratch tickets, and listening to polka music.
Jack is survived by his wife Audrey; daughter Laurie (Keenan) Gaab of Colorado; son Clint (Dodi) Lackman of Wyoming; grandchildren Jamie, Cody, and Kayla Gaab and Wyatt Lackman; and several nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Leo and Floyd; and sister Delores and a nephew Rick Lackman.
