Our parents had 65 years together raising their three daughters Tammie (Danny) Winters, Wendy (Rick) Lewis, and Natalie Shawn (Kevin) Ott (Natalie passed December 2, 2020). Over the many years we went camping almost every Summer, mostly to the Black Hills of South Dakota, the Tetons, Yellowstone and Guernsey Wyoming. We had many adventures and memories to look back at. Our Dad would tell us girls you can do anything a boy can do and he taught us many things.
John and Jan loved doing yard work together and it showed. They were awarded the Golden Spade Award three times.
John worked for the Lockwood Corporation for 38 years, during that time he had the pleasure of entertaining many foreign customers and showed them interesting historical sites, some he was still in touch.
Jan a former stewardess was in the travel business for different agencies most of her life until she started her own.
Grandkids came and holidays were the best. Sarah Johnson, Johnathan Hieatt (April), Travis Winters, Dexter Ott, Kira (Matt) Winters/Klein, Rylee Willey, Clancee Ott and seven Great Grandchildren.
John was born to Margaret (Buechsenstein) and Buford Williams. John had one older brother Buford (Benita) they passed together on September 3, 2024 in a tragic accident.
Jan was born to Claudia Marie (Roebuck) and Albert Schwaderer. Janice had an older sister Norma (Richard) Corbitt both passed and a younger brother Larry (Mary Ann) Schwaderer.
Katherine Buechsenstein, John’s Aunt was also a special person in the Families lives.
John and Janice were both members of St. Agnes Catholic Church.
A graveside service later will be held at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Alliance, Nebraska. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com for the Williams family. Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
