Larry "Catfish" D Belford

His memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bob Haverick officiating. A reception will follow at Bayard American Legion. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com for the Belford family.

Larry was born on August 8, 1947, in Curtis, Nebraska to Claude and Minnie Belford. He received his early education in Scottsbluff, graduating from Scottsbluff high school.

He married Katherine D. Keil on July 5, 1967, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and made their home in Bayard, Nebraska.

Larry was a heavy equipment mechanic.

He loved to play golf, but his passion was fishing and hunting with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Emma and brothers Kenneth and Terry.

Survivors include his wife Katherine; son Robert “Tadpole” (Casey) Belford; grandchildren Alicia (James) Dixon, Montana Belford, Shae (Cody) Brewer, Colton (Tenae)Belford and Keegan (Isaiah) Flores and 6 great grandchildren; son Andrew Belford; grandchildren Charles (Barb) Belford, Malachi Belford, Elizabeth Belford and August Belford and 5 great grandchildren; brothers Clifford and Jerry Belford; sister-in-law Julie (Andrew) Bucy and numerous nieces and nephews.
